KARACHI: An enraged man killed his family members said to angry with his wife over wife not giving him meal in time; meanwhile the Police has lodged FIR against him for killing them.
The person killed his wife, two minor children and his 5 year old brother-in-law following a brawl with his wife using an iron rod in Gulshan e Mazdoor area of Orangi Town on late Friday night.
SP Orangi Town Asif Bughio said on late Friday night area residents of Gulshan e Mazdoor informed the police about the incident which took place in a nearby house. The police reached on the spot and found four dead bodies and a man in injured condition.
The dead bodies including Rabia wife of Abdul Mannan, two year old Rahila, one year infant Arif and five year’s Noor while injured was identified Abdul Mannan himself.
Police with the help of rescue workers managed to shift the dead bodies and injured to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where accused Abdul Mannan was taken in to police custody.
“The deceased Rabia was second wife of Abdul Manan who had wit her a daughter namely Rahila from his ex husband and one infant son named Arif from Abdul Mannan . She was also raising up his five year old brother Noor who was used to live with her”, SP further informed.
According to SP Asif Bughio the culprit Abdul Mannan in his initial statement has confessed to the killing of his wife and other family members. “I sell clothes in weekly markets of City and married Rahila two years back after my first wife passed away, I have four children from my first wife, this second marriage was arranged by our relatives, but soon after the marriage domestic disputes have kept raising between us, Abul Mannan informed in his statement.
According to police Abdul Mannan had a brawl with his wife Rahila last night on not giving him meal on time and he became endangered and attached her with an Iron Rod and latter three innocent children till they all were dead without showing any mercy ; during this fatal incident culprit injured him self as well.
Police has lodged an FIR against the accused under sections of Murder and have initiated further investigations.
