Pano Aqil Cantt GOC visits Khairpur

KHAIRPUR: General Officer Commanding (GOC) Headquarters 16-Division Pano Aqil Cantonment Major General Zafarullah Khan, visited Khairpur to review the security measures. He also visited Women Police Station Khairpur, IT Branch Khairpur, Crime Record Office, CCTV Camera/Command and Control Centre Khairpur and checked all the security arrangements. The GOC also presided over a meeting regarding security arrangements on Muharram at Deputy Commissioner House Khairpur. The Khairpur Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) and Deputy Commissioner Khairpur briefed him about security arrangements on Muharram in all eight talukas of Khairpur district. On the occasion, the GOC directed concerned officials to put security high alert to ensure providing foolproof security to Majalis processions during Muharram. Commissioner Sukkur Division Muhammad Abbas Baloch, Sector Commander of Rangers Sukkur colonel Imtiaz, 81-wing Khairpur Colonel Ziaullah Malhi, Assistant Commissioner Khairpur Imran Mirza and other concerned officials were also present at the meeting.
