Light rain may occur in parts of country

ISLAMABAD: Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.

However, light rain dust-thunderstorm with gusty winds is expected at few places in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Quetta, Zhob, Makran, Sukkur, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad, D.G. Khan, D.I. Khan, Malakand, Hazara and Mardan divisions, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.

Temperature of some major cities recorded on Saturday morning:

Islamabad twenty-two degree centigrade, Lahore and Karachi twenty-eight, Peshawar twenty-three, Quetta eighteen, Gilgit, Murree and Muzaffarabad seventeen degree centigrade.

According to the synoptic situation, a shallow westerly wave is affecting upper and central parts of the country and likely to affect during next few days.
