Actress Meher Bano recently spoke out regarding her previous viral video related to the Women’s March in 2021, clarifying that the footage was edited and misconstrued.

She revealed that following her statement, she received threats and expressed that her intended message was not conveyed accurately to the public.

The Khuda Aur Muhabbat 3 actress recently opened up about various aspects of her career and personal life during an interview on Momin Saqib’s show. The actress delved into her journey in the entertainment industry, shedding light on her early start in theatre, which eventually led her to television acting. The Darling actress revealed that renowned director Sarmad Khost noticed her talent during a theatre performance at a university, catapulting her into the world of acting.

She also candidly shared details about her marriage to Shah Rukh, emphasizing the importance of compassion in choosing a life partner. According to Bano, Shah Rukh was a friend who later became her husband, and they shared a strong bond during their work on the film “Chadil,” where he served as an assistant director.

Touching upon the origin of her husband’s name, the Miss Fire actress mentioned that her family, including her husband’s, held deep admiration for Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan. She revealed that her family prayed for Shah Rukh Khan during challenging times, citing support during the legal issues faced by Shah Rukh’s son, Aryan Khan.

Discussing her past controversial statement linked to the Women’s March, Bano clarified that while she doesn’t regret her words, she faced threats following the incident. She expressed a desire to have articulated her thoughts differently, believing her message might not have been properly conveyed due to editing by those sharing the content on social media.

Regarding peculiar videos and images of her on YouTube, Bano expressed her view that taking action against such content would only harm society further. She believes those producing and sharing such content are merely exposing themselves and not negatively impacting her.

The actress reflected on the learning experience garnered from these incidents, highlighting her determination to continue learning and growing from her surroundings. Bano emphasized her commitment to learning despite challenges and controversies that come her way.
