Multan Region opener Sharjeel Khan vowed on Saturday to show “stellar” performances in the National T20 Cup.
Expressing his thoughts on the sidelines of the National T20 Cup, Sharjeel said: “I am in good touch and will try to continue my good form at the National T20 Cup. He expressed his gratitude to the Higher Power for amassing runs in the Pakistan Cup. “My strike rate was over 120 in the Pakistan Cup,” Sharjeel said. Speaking about the transition from List A to T20 format, Sharjeel said: “The T20 cricket is all about attacking, while in List A, you take time and then improvised”.
He talked about sharing the dressing room with the Multan Region. “I am sharing my cricketing experience with my Multan Region teammates. I will try to deliver for the Multan Region in the same way I used to for Karachi,” Sharjeel said. Separately, Pakistan opener Fakhar Zaman said on Friday that he wanted to become the player of the tournament at the 2023 World Cup.
Expressing his thoughts on the sidelines of the National T20 Cup in Karachi, Zaman said: “I tried to avail myself of whatever opportunity I had during the World Cup. It would have been great if we had make it to the semi-final or final.”
Speaking about the victory against New Zealand in the World Cup match, Zaman said: “As we were chasing over a 400-run target, we wanted to move our game to the next level. I had to stick to the role of making batting for my partners easy by playing aggressive cricket.
