PPP presses Dar to resign

Author: By Our Correspondent

GUJRANWALA: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Information Secretary Sagheer Butt on Thursday said Finance Minister Ishaq Dar should resign after his indictment by an accountability court in a corruption reference. In a statement, he said that if the government would not respect the courts and institutions then how they could expect it from the people. He slammed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan for “damaging the democratic system through conspiracies” against Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Khursheed Shah. All the conspiracies against the PPP would go futile because Shah was doing his job honestly, he concluded.
