PHF names probables for Women’s Asian Challenge

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has announced 48 probables for a training to select national squad for the Women’s Asian Challenge Hockey Tournament. The event will be held in Brunei’s capital Bandar Seri Bagawan from October 22 to 29. The trials to select the final squad will be organised from October 7 to 9. The following players have been asked to report at Lahore’s National Hockey Stadium on October 2.

Probables:

Goalkeepers: Rizwana Yasmin (WAPDA), Syeda Sadia (Railways), Rushna Khan (Punjab), Sana Amanat (Pakistan Army), Iqbal Joyan (Sindh), Ayesha Qamar (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa).

Fullbacks: Ishrat Abbas, Marina Anwar (WAPDA); Taskeen Kausar, Adeeba (Pakistan Army); Rimshallyas, Amna Ghaffar (Railways); AsmaKhan, Khansa (Islamabad); Kainat Zulfiqar (Punjab); Hira Fatima (Balochistan).

Halfbacks: NafeesaAnwar, 1braSheikh, Zakia Nawaz, Iqra Javed (WAPDA); Shahida Raza, Saira Cheema, Sana Naz (Pakistan Army); Fozia Naz, Zaib-un-Nisa (Railways); Nida Asghar, Tabarka Tariq (Punjab); Sonia (Balochistan).
