Five die in road accidents

KHAIRPUR: Four people lost their lives while other two sustained injuries in separate mishaps on Saturday.

Sorah Police said in a hit and run incident, a boy identified as Amanullah age 15 years lost life near Suleman Aradin village of taluka Nara. The body was shifted Choondiko Hospital for legal formalities.

Meanwhile Nausherho Police recovered a body with tortured marks near Dali Link Road, later it was identified as Zahid Ali. Police handed over body to heirs after legal formalities. Police said a tractor trolley driver identified as Allah Bux lost life when he hit a stationary tractor near Deputy Commissioner Office Ghotki. Two others on the vehicle, Ibarhim Mangsi and Javed Mangsi sustained injuries were brought to Mirpur Mathelo Hospital for treatment. A boy whose identification could not be ascertained was hit by a tractor trolley near Nursery Mir Pur Mathelo while he was crossing National Highway. He was rushed to hospital but succumbed to his injuries. Police arrested the driver and impounded vehicle. Ranipur Police claimed to have fished out a body of a woman from Rohri Canal near Ranipur. Identification of body could not be ascertained.
