Nawaz elected as PML-N party chief unopposed : Shehbaz Sharif

Islamabad – Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif in a speech on Tuesday confirmed that all provincial chapters of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz have unanimously been able to re-elect Nawaz Sharif as their party president.

CM Punjab while addressing PML-N general council, went on to ask “Is accountability only for the Sharif family?”.

He said no one opposed former dictators who took over on October 12, 1999 and also introduced the Provisional Constitution Order (PCO).

PML-N general council that was held on Tuesday at held at the convention centre in Islamabad, was able to successfully re-elect former prime minister Nawaz Sharif as PML-N party president unopposed for the next four years.
