Two shot dead in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: Two people were shot dead on Tuesday.

Police said that gunmen riding motorcycle shot at two people in Kamran Market area of Saddar, Rawalpindi in Cantonment Police Station jurisdiction.

Both the victims died on the spot. The attackers fled the scene. The bodies were taken to hospital for postmortem. Police have registered a case.

Afghan nationals: The National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) on Tuesday restarted the process of registration of unregistered Afghan nationals in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The process of registration was temporarily suspended due to Muharram. Overall 100,000 Afghan refugees who have been living in Pakistan without Proof of Registration cards have been registered across the country in last one month out of which 80,000 have been registered in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa alone.
