KARACHI: Pakistan Institute of Labour Education and Research (PILER) has vehemently condemned the killing of 10 workers in Gwadar Balochistan and demanded the government to provide security to the workers, working in sensitive areas.
In a statement issued here on Sunday, PILER Executive Director Karamat Ali termed it an act terrorism and sabotage the workers unity.
“Killing peaceful workers who went from Noshero Feroz district to earn livelihood in Balochistan is highly condemnable act and the incident has raised questions on the law enforcement agencies who have failed to protect lives,” the statement said.
He expressed condolence with the family members of the victims and demanded the provincial government to provide compensation to the families according to the national and international laws and practices.
