Fisherman kidnapped

LARKANA: A fisherman, identified as Hashim Mirbahar, was kidnapped from the vicinity of Ketty Mumtaz police station, while fishing. The fisherman’s brother said that Mirbahar was kidnapped by 12 armed men, who later called to ask Rs 300,000 for Mirbahar’s release. He said that the kidnappers threatened to kill Mirbahar if the ransom was not paid. Police raids conducted to recover the kidnapped came up short.
