Sindh govt should tender apology to nation for torture against PSP workers: PTI

Author: Online

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehree-e-Insaaf has strongly condemned the torture of Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) workers by Sindh government saying dictatorial habits and mindset of democratic governments is very unfortunate.

“Despotic habits and mindset of democratic governments is highly unfortunate. Violence against peaceful political gatherings is not in any way democratic and acceptable”, PTI information secretary Shafqat Mehmood said this in a statement issued here Monday.

Instead of baton charging peaceful political workers governments should change the circumstances which force them to go to streets, he remarked.

Sindh government should give a tender apology to the nation on this unacceptable attitude, he underlined. The detained PSP workers should be released forthwith, he demanded.
