ISLAMABAD: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq has urged the government to extend complete support to the liberation struggle of Kashmiris in accordance with the nation’ sentiments and give up efforts to befriend India. Addressing the Azad Kashmir JI shura, the JI chief said that while India was continuing its unlawful occupation of Kashmir and 800,000 Indian troops were busy in the carnage of innocent Kashmiris, rulers in Islamabad were rubbing salt into the wounds of Kashmiris by making friendship offers to India. “Independence of Kashmir is part of our faith and Kashmiris are fighting the war for Pakistan’s completion,” he maintained.
