Four security men hurt in blast near Mastung

QUETTA: Four security personnel were injured when a roadside bomb hit their vehicle in Mastung area of Balochistan province on Monday.

The blast also partially damaged the vehicle and created panic in the area. The security sources said the blast targeted the vehicle of the security forces.

According to Levies personnel, the security forces vehicle was on a routine patrol when the bomb was exploded by a remote control. The blast was apparently caused by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED).

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the blast, the bomb disposal squad said that the bomb was planted at the roadside.

The injured were shifted to CMH for medical treatment.
