Nawaz felicitates cricket team on historic series’ win against WI

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has congratulated the nation as well as Pakistani cricket team on historic test series’ win against West Indies.

In a message on Monday, he appreciated the team players and management for their efforts which resulted into a remarkable win for the country. The prime minister also praised legendary cricket players Misbahul Haq and Younis Khan for their contributions and invaluable services for the national cricket team.

He said that youth in general and young cricketers in particular must learn from the great experiences, sportsmanship and consistent hard work of the two great players of the game.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Minister of State for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb have also congratulated cricket team for winning test series against West Indies. In their separate felicitation messages, they said that the entire team deserve congratulation over the historic victory in West Indies.
