Farhan Saeed to star in his first film with Punjab Nahi Jaungi writer Khalil ur Rehman

If you thought Farhan Saeed’s music fandom is all that’s going on for him, you’re in for a surprise as the ‘Thori Der’ singer has just landed his acting abilities under the radar, in his first film project.

Saeed is set to play the male lead, with announcement of the female lead coming forth in the next few days.

Through this powerhouse project, Punjab Nahi Jaungi writer Khalil ur Rehman Qamar will not only be script writing for the film, but also be marking his debut as a film director! Did you see that coming?

Khalil ur Rehman’s written works of art always leave an impact – he has rounded up TV hits like Pyarey Afzal, Sadqay Tumhare and Mera Naam Yousuf Hai to his credit and Punjab Nahi Jaungi is already approaching six weeks in the box office earning up to more than a record 27.75 crore.
