Sir: Apropos Khalid Hasan’s article “Bibi goes nuclear, but why?” (Daily Times, September 30), Benazir Bhutto seems to be intimidating everyone and not just Musharraf. The other day while following the political chaos in the country on a private television channel, I saw Bhutto informing the public about her return to Pakistan. Her major concerns upon arrival included the provision of three vehicles — for herself, ‘A to Z’s’ sister, and another party member. Still recovering from the shock of her desperation for US adoration (the AQ Khan comments), I was disappointed by her petty concerns. God help us if she succeeds in adding fuel to the fire raging in our country.
On a separate note, I would also like to ask Mr Hasan why is the main question in his article valued at $64,000?
