Sir: The Chief Election Commissioner last week had admitted during a press briefing that the Election Commission had received many complaints about violation of election rules by certain candidates, most of them from the incumbent Q-League. But, he said, since time was short, it was not possible for the Commission to investigate these complaints and take any action.

Now that elections are likely to be postponed, will the Election Commission do something about these complaints?
