Sir: Rather than condemning the recent use of the Presidency to host a wedding, I feel that the occasion has highlighted the great potential the place has. The Presidency and other such imposing edifices should immediately be made available for hire by any desiring individuals wishing to host marriages or other parties.
I am sure hordes of cash-belching, ostentatious Pakistanis will flock to book the places. Their revenues can then be used to bolster rural health, education or any number of other needful causes. It could be a great way to use these buildings and generate revenue for the common man at the same time.
