Resolve matter in court

Author: Daily Times

Sir: November 1 was the second day of protests led by doctors and medical staff at Services Hospital, Lahore. These protests were sparked by the detention of a doctor in a case of alleged negligence, due to which a patient died. While this is a serious case that demands a full administrative and judicial inquiry, one should consider the value of these protests. While the concerned staff should register their protest in a civilised manner, they should not neglect their immediate duties. Services Hospital is a busy institution that caters to thousands of patients. The best thing to do in this case, for all concerned, would be to not take this matter to the streets and instead let justice take its course. Conflict will not solve anything.
