Work together

Author: Daily Times

Sir: This is with reference to your editorial “Indo-Pak spy wars”. (January 31) India and Pakistan, in the current climate of insecurity where both countries face a common enemy in the form of transnational terrorism, should work together, not against each other, to ensure security and stability in South Asia. Sticking with the old confrontationist state of mind will not do any good for either country; in fact, it will increase the lack of trust, providing the terrorists fertile grounds for their nefarious deeds. One hopes the leaders of India and Pakistan are alive to this reality, and will increase cooperation to counter terrorism.
