Sir: The whole country watched with horror when the Taliban in Swat were destroying girls’ schools and unleashing violence on any girls that tried to get an education. Now that they are targeting women and educational institutions in cities like Peshawar and Lahore, there should be no doubt about the intentions of these cowardly barbarians. We must oppose them to the fullest and back our troops as they try to destroy their stronghold in South Waziristan. We cannot afford to lose this battle as it is a battle for our very survival as a nation.
