Tear down the walls

Author: Daily Times

Sir: This is with reference to the ongoing demolition of ‘illegal’ buildings in the city of Lahore. I do not want to go into the details of why this is being done now and why was the construction not stopped before. My only concern is that the laws of the land should apply equally to everyone. With the above sentence in mind, I would like to ask the honourable Chief Minister of Punjab why have the two buildings — owned by a certain media group and which happen to be illegal constructions — not been taken down, like all the other buildings in the city?
