Dirty politics

Author: Daily Times

Sir: It is very disappointing that our political leaders have started to deliver such irrelevant statements, which reflect their calibre and mentality. Instead of resolving the problems prevailing in the country, which is the major responsibility of the elected parliamentarians, they have resorted to personalised character assassination using un-parliamentary language in the electronic media. Surely they have the right to criticise the government but doing so by attacking the personal lives of politicians and using inappropriate language is unjustified. For the last three years, a war of political domination, without holding the legal majority, is being fought with zero results.
