A picture speaks a thousand words

Author: Daily Times

Sir: The Cricket World Cup is over. The Indian team has proved that they are only Indians, not Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians or Parsis when it comes to achieving their goal. Thousands of pictures of the glorious moments of the Cricket World Cup final were published in the sports sections of various newspapers around the world, but one picture that caught my attention was of the Indian cricketer Yousuf Pathan lifting Sachin Tendulkar on his shoulder in joy after the world cup finale. This is a perfect example of team work and symbolises religious harmony and the unity of a nation. Keep it up India. You deserved to be the World Cup Champions. We Pakistanis look forward to better ties with India in future.
