Sir: I am writing in reference to Dr Syed Mansoor Hussain’s article, ‘The real conspiracy’ (Daily Times, May 02, 2011). I must say Dr Hussain is lucky that he can buy Indian mangoes. Here in Manchester, we have to put up with discounted Pakistani Langra as there is a rumour that Indian Alfansos have been ‘snapped’ by rich Indian diaspora in the States. Conspiracy by the Indian Americans against their British compatriots! I must say Pakistani mangoes are equally delicious but you cannot beat the Indian Alfanso.
