Osama’s death

Author: Naveed Ashraf

Sir: I find it strange that the people of Pakistan are not celebrating the death of Osama bin Laden, a person who’s al Qaeda forces have killed thousands of innocent Pakistanis in suicide attacks across Pakistan. Instead, there is more heated discussion on the fact that our security forces, ISI and military, were caught unaware and had no idea that the world’s most wanted man was living in Abbottabad.

I guess the people of Pakistan have grown up thinking that the ISI and the Pakistan Army are the best and are aware of all activities in Pakistan. Now, suddenly we have seen the light and we know that our security forces did not even know about Osama’s whereabouts and we ask ourselves, what do our security forces really know?
