LAHORE: After making headlines for his epic period performance and incredible transformation for ‘Ishq’ with ‘Teefa in Trouble’ leading lady Maya Ali at the Lux Style Awards, multi-talented rockstar Ali Zafar releases the original soundtrack for the performance on Patari.
The OST for ‘Ishq’ includes poetry scripted by Ali Zafar who also sang and narrated on the track. The soundtrack and performance chronicled the passion and struggle of two star-crossed lovers, set in a fictional medieval period, unfolding in action, dance and theatre. ‘Ishq’ also gives audiences a glimpse into the smouldering chemistry between Ali Zafar and Maya Ali, more of which is to be seen this year with the release of ‘Teefa In Trouble’.

Ali Muhammad Zafar is a Pakistani singer-songwriter, model, actor and painter. Zafar started out on Pakistani TV, then also established a career in Hindi cinema and his success led many Pakistani actors to venture into Hindi films. He has received five Lux Style Awards and a Filmfare Award nomination.
Zafar started his career as a music composer and gained popularity by his single “Channo” from his debut album ‘Huqa Pani’ which sold over five million copies worldwide. “Channo” turned out to be a huge success topping many music charts and earned him several awards for Best Music Album and Artist.
