An appeal to the chief minister of KP

Author: Daily Times

Sir: I want to bring a case to the notice of the respected chief minister of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa regarding corruption and changing locations of plots in Shahmansoor Township scheme under the Swabi Development Authority (SDA). My father bought a plot (No 159 E) under the Shahmansoor Township scheme in 1996, in a good location. Later, in 2000, the then director of SDA, Rooh-ul-Ameen allocated the same plot to one of his relatives and shifted the location of our plot (to 36 A) without any prior notice. On enquiry about the ‘shifting the location’ of plot, the SDA failed to provide any good reason. My father took the case to court. The court after hearing both parties ordered the SDA to reverse the decision but the order of the honourable court has yet to be executed. The SDA has even changed the map of Shahmansoor Township to hide the corrupt cases. My father also approached the current director of SDA, who also failed to address the concerned issue.

I appeal to the chief minister of KP to take notice of the case and order the authorities concerned to look into the matter.
