Sir: The issue of shortage of local textbooks is a big source of discomfort to all types of schools. The concerned authorities are ignoring the complaints of difficulties the students face and are neglecting the problem, which is actually a matter of great concern. A quick action for providing the students with the course books must be taken. The matter is a very serious one as the students are obviously unable to study without the textbooks.
