Sir: I want to draw your attention towards a major problem of our society, which is neglected badly. It is throwing of garbage on roads, streets and other public places. People compare Pakistan to other countries, as to how they are ten times cleaner. No one realises that it is our own fault. If every Pakistani decides not to throw garbage on the roads, then our cities would become clean too.
Our government should also be involved and take responsible steps. Firstly, there should be a rule that the person found littering will be fined, as offenders are in all western and other developed countries. The second and most important step is to place garbage cans on our roads, streets, parks, and all other public places. Shortage of garbage dumpsters in public places is a big problem; the unavailability of these results in people throwing garbage wherever they want.
My motto is to bring awareness amongst people and government, and to keep our Pakistan clean.
