Corruption in PHA

Author: Daily Times

Sir: Through your esteemed newspaper, we the victims of the Prime Minister PHA Housing scheme category D type flats at sector G 10/2 for the public want to draw the attention of the Chief Justice (CJ) of the Supreme Court to take strict action against the negligence and corruption of the concerned authorities. Through this scheme, middle class Pakistanis submitted Rs three and half million per flat in instalments with an agreement that the flats would be handed over in March 2012. However, unfortunately, instead of handing over flats in March 2012, they are still under construction. I have visited the site and it seems that the quality of material being used will make the process of construction even longer. It is requested that the CJ take suo motu notice against the concerned authorities.
