Sir: The prime minister is reported to have said that load shedding can be overcome by printing money. If printing money could solve any problem, every country on earth would be doing it. Evidently, the PM does not know that one of the reasons for rampant inflation in Pakistan is the excess printing of notes amounting to billions every year. I wonder why Mr Gilani did not suggest that Pakistan’s internal and external debts could be paid off by printing money.
