Sir: Street crime has become a common thing in Lahore. Even in broad daylight people are not spared robbery and mugging. One fears going out carrying cash and mobile phones. No place is secure any more; areas like parking lots, public urinals, libraries, reading rooms, even graveyards are not safe. On the one hand, the government is not providing us the basic utilities of life such as electricity and clean water, and on the other, lawlessness has wrought havoc with our lives. Where should we turn for help?
