Water filtration plant

Author: Daily Times

Sir: The National Assembly constituency (NA-130) consists of 500,000 people, but clean drinking water is unavailable in the area. People are forced to drink dirty water in Minhala Kalan, Hadiara, Burki and several other areas of the constituency, which is causing gastroenteritis, cholera, typhoid and hepatitis.

The member of the Punjab Assembly, who also belongs to the ruling party in the province, has failed to install water filtration plants despite repeated promises. People are suffering due to the unavailability of clean drinking water and the standard of health is deteriorating in the area day by day. It is requested that water filtration plants be installed at union council level to provide clean drinking water to citizens.
