Sir: Restriction has been imposed in Punjab on imparting education in Urdu. This year in the entire province, primary and middle examinations were only conducted in English. We are well aware of the importance of education in the national and the mother tongue. Because of restrictions on imparting education in Urdu, children are leaving educational institutions on account of difficulty they face in learning in English.
