Blackout issue

Author: Daily Times

Sir: This is in reference to the prevailing load-shedding situation in the country, which is getting worse day by day. The protests against blackouts are proving to be more disastrous as they are resulting in the destruction of public properties. We need to understand the real problems that are causing load shedding. Government must share the realities behind blackouts. Instead of the blame game, a political and social harmony is needed to eradicate the blackout issue from our country. Protest is the right of every Pakistani, but on the other hand, we must realise the fact that they are not the solution to load shedding. Our public is in dire need of electricity. However, the public should also realise the complications involved in solving the load-shedding problem.
