Sir: Devastation in Karachi is increasing day by day and the government is taking no measures to prevent it. Street crimes are rising with criminals having no fear of police. People have lost the quality of life and our youth is indulging in illegal acts, such as robbery and snatching.
A few days ago, it was heard that 6,000 mobile phones were stolen in two days, which is not a thing to be ignored. Corruption has increased so much here that criminals are roaming around freely, whereas the government is helpless to do anything. The lower class is facing poverty despite extreme hard work. Robbers take whatever they save; it is as if only they are facing all the problems and there is no one to help them. With such a rise in corruption and inflation, soon people mould start dying from hunger too. I request the higher authorities to look into this matter and take some measures, as this is not something to be ignored.
