Sir: After the disqualification of Mr Yousaf Raza Gilani, all newspapers and channels of Pakistan highlighted his losing the record of being the longest serving prime minister of Pakistan and that Liaquat Ali Khan’s record of the longest serving prime minister of Pakistan still existed. It is a pity that in order to make this hollow announcement, some expensive ads were published in newspapers all across the country, which was another mindless example of wastage of the taxpayers’ money. When will our leaders wake up to become sane in their acts and spending?
