Sir: I would like to draw the attention of the concerned authorities towards cruelty against animals. Recently, a man shot a dog on a road without any reason; I was horrified to see that cruel act. He also told the children standing there to throw stones at it. Such cruelty to animals is alarming. More importantly, there is no one to control such bad things. In other countries, animals are loved and sheltered, but unfortunately, in Pakistan many people do not treat them well. I request the authorities to feel pity and prevent animal cruelty.
