Polling officers at risk

Author:

Sir: It is a clear fact that Balochistan, where polling officers lives are in dangers, is a danger zone. However, teachers and others officers are selected for election but it is a sorry state that most of them refused to be part of the elections because the situation of Balochistan is out of control and they were threatened with the idea that all polling stations can be targeted. On the other hand, they were threatened by the government that if they did not take part in the elections they would lose their salaries and jobs. The government should tackle this serious issue that teachers should not be taken for such events as their families lives will be in trouble.
