Girl gunned down

LARKANA: A 19-year young girl was gunned down in her home in village Ghulam Nabi Rind which is located in the limits of Sachal police station of Larkana here on Wednesday. SHO of the said police station Hassan Soomro told Reporters that the heirs of the girl informed police about the incident in which they alleged that some armed men intruded in their house late last night and opened fire in which 19-year Fauzia Rind daughter of Sultan Rind died. He said police reached the spot & shifted the body to Casualty of the Chandka Hospital for fulfilment of legal formalities including autopsy to ascertain the cause of death. After postmortem the body was handed over to the heirs. SHO further said that no case has so far been lodged as none of her relatives has come to the police station adding as soon as they arrive FIR will be registered. On the other hand there were rumours that unmarried girl has been killed for honour.
