KARACHI: Miscreants have used 600gm TNT explosive to blow up the Gas line in Mangupir area according to the Bomb Disposal Squad meanwhile the Police has registered an FIR against unknown terrorists on the written complaint of SSGC Manager to initiate the investigation.

Unidentified terrorists have blown up the main SSGC pipe line near the Madina Al-Hikmat in the remit of Mangupir area with a Time Device Bomb on late hours of Wednesday which has caused the supply of gas to have discontinued in various areas of the City, according to the SHO Mangupir Haji Sanaullah.

Upon receiving the information about the incident police teams with the LEAs reached the spot along with SSGC officials.

Officers of LEAs collected the evidence for forensic investigation while SSGC officials resumed repairing work, the Bomb Disposal Squad was call on the site for examine the explosive material.

According to sources affiliated to the investigation of the case claimed that the elements of militant banned organizations active in Baluchistan were involved in the incident because same kind of terror activities happened in Baluchistan during last few years.

In that particular incident terrorists used 600 gm TNT explosive with time bomb device, police has registered a case and investigations were underway, officials told Daily Times.
