Sir: I would like to draw the attention of concerned authorities towards the roads construction, which are taking too long. Such projects should be done on the weekends when the traffic is low.
Transport is already one of the major problems in Karachi. The reckless driving on dilapidated roads further endangers the lives of daily commuters. Traffic rules are openly violated in the absence of proper arrangements to handle the traffic jams.
Along with all these problems, the roads have been dug up everywhere but the construction work is being done at a snail’s pace. The distance we used to cover in one or two hours is taking at least an extra hour.
We request the concerned authorities to take possible measures and avoid working on the project during the day time.
