Sir: The killing of labourers while they were working at on a construction project near Gwadar is an unfortunate incident.
The incident happened in Pishgan area. Most of the labourers killed belonged to Sindh, while the attackers managed to flee after the assault. Although Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff and other leaders have condemned the incident, no progress has been made to arrest the culprits. The local labourers must be treated the same as the Chinese workers and should be accorded the same security that is being provided to the Chinese counterparts.
