Sir: There are a lot of sheesha bars in the Phase 6 area of Defence in Karachi. Despite the ban, most of the bars are still open and happy as business is booming. It turns out that the owners of these bars give a handsome amount of money to the area police chief for protection and to keep the business going. Sheesha smoking is a menace, which is destroying the health of many youngsters. The authorities that are letting this business run by accepting bribes are playing a major part in destroying the city’s youth.
