The PM and Sindh

Author: Daily Times

Sir: As a matter of fact Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, during his past two tenures, had miserably neglected Sindh. So much so he did not launch any mega development projects in the province. Not only that, he also abandoned mega development projects launched by Shaheed Benazir Bhutto like the Thar coal, Keti Bunder projects, amongst others. The people of Sindh were expecting that since Nawaz Sharif had learnt lessons from the past, therefore he would do justice to Sindh this time as announced by him during his election campaign. But after becoming the prime minister for the third time, it appears he has forgotten all the promises he made to the people of Sindh. I suggest to the prime minister that he should not neglect Sindh and keep it in mind while launching mega development projects.
