KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday strongly condemned the murder of innocent labourers from Sindh in Turbat.
Unidentified gunmen had opened fire on the labourers in Turbat. They were later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
In a press statement, the PPP chairman expressed deep grief over the martyrdom of workers from Sindh in Balochistan. “These killings are a dangerous conspiracy. However, people of the two provinces will foil any such plot,” he said.
Bilawal expressed sympathy and solidarity with the victims’ families and asked both the federal and provincial governments to provide security to the labourers working in Balochistan.
Appointment: PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has appointed Haji Azizur Rehman Chann as the PPP Lahore district president.
According to the notification issued from Bilawal House, Karachi, Muhammad Israrul Haq Butt has been appointed as secretary.
Both the leaders have a long affiliation with the party. Chann was former secretary of the party. He is an industrialist.
Muhammad Israrul Haq Butt is the younger brother of Babar Butt, who had recently been assassinated. PPP declared his murder a political lose of the party in Lahore district. Bilawal has also announced the leadership for the Sheikhupura district. He has appointed Javaid Ahmed Dogar as PPP district president. Usman Nisar Pannu has been appointed the secretary general of the party in the district.
PPP sources said that the appointments had been made with full consent of Central Punjab president Qamar Zaman Kaira and federal information secretary and coordinator Chaudhry Manzoor.
In Sheikhupura city, Naeem Abbas Naqvi has been appointed as the PPP president and Ghulam Rasool as general secretary In Bhakkar district, Ejaz Ahmed Shahani has been appointed the PPP president and Ansar Cheema as the secretary.
The notifications in this regard were issued from the chairman’s secretariat by his political secretary Jameel Soomro.
