Rakhi Sawant arrives for mother’s funeral with husband Adil Durrani

One of the most loved TV and Bollywood personalities, Rakhi Sawant, who always brings a smile to her fans’ faces with her funny remarks, dancing skills, and bold attitude, is going through the toughest time of her life after her mother, Jaya Bheda, passed away after a prolonged battle with brain cancer.

She was hospitalised for the longest time, and last night her condition worsened, due to which she breathed her last. According to PTI, Bheda, 73, passed away around 9 p.m. on Saturday, according to Deepak Namjoshi, pulmonologist and director, Criti Care Asia Multi specialty Hospital & Research Center, Juhu.

The actress arrived with her husband, Adil Durrani, and best friend today at Cooper Hospital for her mother’s last rites. In a statement shared on her Instagram Stories, Rakhi revealed the funeral will be held on Sunday at noon at the Municipal Christian Cemetery in Mumbai.

“With deep sorrow, I, Rakhi Sawant, inform you (about) the sudden death of my beloved mother. Many of you know that she was suffering from some medical conditions… I’m sad to say that she is gone… join us for the funeral service of my mother at 12:00 afternoon,” she said in the statement.

After her mom’s untimely demise, Rakhi cried inconsolably. Sitting on the floor she was weeping and remebring her mom. Sharing her video on her Instagram, she penned an emotional note and wrote, “Aaj meri maa ka haat sar se uth gaya Or mere pass khone ke liye kuch nhi bacha I love you MAA Aap ke bina kuch nhi raha,ab koun meri pukar sunega or koun mujhe gale lagayega maa.. Ab Mai kya karu…kaha jauuuu.. I miss you Aai.”
